This deeper cooler level of the chromosphere is where you can image the gathering and dispersing of the

The Calcium K line is at the violet end of the spectrum and sadly
as we age our eyes find it harder to see these higher frequencies so you may find
that you can't actually SEE anything through you Calcium K line filter (although your children will!).
However, the camera will capture what you don't, and you can see the images.... |
