These ingeniously designed digital camera adaptors allow photography directly through the eyepiece of Astronomical Telescopes, Spotting Scopes and Microscopes.
It accepts most Compact Digital Cameras with tripod bush and is micro-adjustable for perfect centering of camera lens. There are two models available to fit different diameter eyepieces and that telescope shown in the picture for demonstration is NOT included!

Tele Vue Afocal Camera Adaptors
Tele Vue digital camera adapters allow solid, accurate attachment of digital cameras to appropriate Tele Vue eyepieces for "afocal" imaging.
"Afocal" means collimated light between the telescope eyepiece and camera lens. To minimize vignetting and maximize image quality.
Tele Vue suggest using the following Tele Vue eyepieces, as their long eye relief best matches the internal pupil of the camera lens;
- Naglers: 22mm, 17mm, and 12mm Type 4 and 31mm Nagler type 5
- Panoptics: 35mm and 27mm
- Plossls: 40mm and 32mm
- Radians: All - with special Radian adaptor
- NB Tele Vue found the 35mm Panoptic achieves the least vignetting in afocal applications.

The Adapters are available for 28mm 37mm and 49mm cameras.
Digital cameras with 28mm filter threads include, but are not limited to, the Nikon Coolpix 800, 900, 910, 950, 980, 995, and 4500.
Ddigital cameras with 37mm threads include, but are not limited to, the Sony DSC-S50 and S30; Sony camcorders DCR-TRV series, DCR-P100, and TR290PK; and Sharp camcorders VL-PD7 and VL-MR1. It may be possible to use other cameras with slightly different filter threads, such as the 43mm thread Olympus Camedia C-3030 or the 36mm Minolta Dimage S404, by adding an appropriate step up or step down ring available from most camera stores. However, the performance of such a combination is not guaranteed. Any experimentation along these lines is at the sole responsibility of the camera owner.
Digital cameras with 49mm threads include, but are not limited to, the Minolta Dimage 7 and Dimage 7i. It may be possible to use other cameras with slightly different filter threads, such as the 52mm thread Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S85, by adding an appropriate step up or step down ring available from most camera stores. However, the performance of such a combination is not guaranteed. Any experimentation along these lines is at the sole responsibility of the camera owner.
