Tele Vue Pronto Telescope with Solarscope 50mm Hydrogen Alpha Filter

These filters are brilliantly engineered to give a full width clear aperture with NO central obstruction as found in other filters of this type, thereby giving excellent contrast. There are thermally stable, and so does not need any power supply to keep a constant temperature.

The Solar Filter system consists of 2 elements:

The Solar Filter screws into an adaptor plate which has been previously screwed into the appropriate small refractor. The Solar Filter assembly contains the Energy Rejection Filter and the all important Fabry Perot Etalon.

The blocking filter assembly fits into the focusser, prior to the eyepiece and it is ESSENTIAL that both the solar and the blocking filter have been fitted to the telescope before you attempt to look through it.

The Energy Rejection Filter and the blocking filter together prevent entry of harmful ultra violet and infra red radiation, offering full protection to your eye.

BlOCKING FILTER ASSEMBLIES
Supplied as standard	Assembly for use with 2" accessories, fitted with 20mm blocking filter (30mm blocking filter for use with the SF 100) mounted in pre-set tilt cell. Included is a 2" to 1-1/4" adapter.
For telescopes with 1-1/4" facility only	1-1/4" right angled diagonal assembly fitted with 15mm aperture blocking filter mounted in pre-set tilt cell.

The Solarscope Solar Filter is best fitted to and used with a small refracting telescope and Tele Vue scopes are ideal for the purpose.
