These telescope covers are made from a very tough NASA-derived reflective material that would probably survive re-entry!

Multiple size options and two different weights. The 365 series are the heavy duty covers. Custom sizes to order.

Telegizmo standard covers

A multi-layer, polyethylene material with a fully aluminized surface. The heat reflective ability of the cover is extremely high with a material strength equal to a multi-layer light weight tarp.

The material was originally developed for NASA as an insulator in spacecraft. It is very strong, light, tear and puncture resistant and is highly superior to Mylar in durability.

For horizontal parking position to 90 degrees down. Large truss Dob Cover series offer large Dob owners the best possible protection available in a scope cover. They provide superior rain and moister protection; they are not just water resistant. They are extremely tough and can provide years of service under normal use.

The TeleGizmos material performance is unaffected by wind, sun, sub-freezing temperatures or UV. The fully aluminized/poly exterior surface will keep your scope significantly cooler on hot summer days translating into much faster cool down times once the sun sets.

Telegizmo dobsonian scope coat Designed to give the best possible fit, these covers have two main connected components: The main tube section is four connected tapered panels, the narrowest point starting at the UTA and then gradually widening to the point of attachment at the rocker box. The rocker section of the cover is boxed shape to conform the general shape of the rocker. All connection seam points are double lapped and micro-stitched. The resulting seam is highly resistant to moister penetration to assure your scope will stay dry under even the hardest rains.

The TGLB-12 Dedicated Horizontal Park Position Cover for the Meade 10"-12" Light Bridge Dobs

The new Meade Light Bridge Dobsonian telescopes raise the bar to a new level in the small to mid-size Dob category. Telegizmos has developed a very unique dedicated cover design for the Light Bridge.

The TGLB-12 incorporates two main sections: A cylindrical truss section with adequate circumference to allow for clearance of the standard mounted finder. The rocker section is box shaped to provide full coverage and enough vertical height for total coverage around the rocker base. Double lap seams with micro stitching attach the these two main sections and provide high water penetration resistance. Combined with our solar material's water proof quality, you can be assured of complete rain protection.

Protection from rain is not the only key benefit of our covers. The radiant barrier effect of our material will protect the scope from harmful UV and heat build-up. This reduction of daytime temperature build in the scope will reduce scope cool down times. The TGLB-12: Outstanding protection for your scope. The 365 Series Cover is designed to meet the most demanding equipment coverage needs including 24/7, 365 outside exposure. The 365 is a multi layered/dual material design that incorporates original Solar Cover material as an inner radiant barrier coupled to an outer cover made of high count, acrylic coated woven polyester. This combination of materials produces an effective cover system capable of providing years of protection, even when used outside 24/7, 365. In fact, the 365 Covers are warrantied to provide this level of protection.

365 Series Scope Cover The inner liner radiant barrier (which you can see in the picture on the left) provides radiant heat protection, effectively protecting your equipment from radiant heat build up. Additionally, as a second inner liner it provides additional protection from water penetration.



The outer polyester cover is the highest quality acrylic coated weave. This American made material offers exceptional resistance to mildew and UV as well as superior strength and abrasion resistance. Less than 1% shrinkage or stretch assures continuous proper fit. The water resistant capabilities of this material are outstanding...tested and shown to not allow moisture penetration from a spray test at 40 PSI, 1/2 inch concentrated stream. The manufacturer exterior exposure rating for this material is 5 years.

A year of strenuous testing in some of the harshest outside environments, including the desert southwest, Florida Keys, Colorado at 8000 feet and the Texas Hill country has proven the 365 Series to be capable of handling all types of weather on a continuous 24/7, 365 basis.
