popular SXV series with an incredible 2 Megapixels per second data transfer rate.
This simplifies many applications from deep sky imaging and planetary imaging through to bio-medical
imaging, such as low light Fluorescent and Chemiluminescent analysis.

Features of the SXVF Camera Series

- High Sensitivity Quanum Efficiency in the range of 50% to 68%
- Exceptionally low dark signal levels
- Very low power consumption Less than 1 Amp @ 12Vdc
- The SXVF-M5/7/9 series are STAR2000 compatible
- Extremely effective anti-blooming with a minimal effect on linearity and no lost active area
- Internal High Speed USB2.0 interface (2 Megapixels per second)
- Optional add-on low cost guide camera for off-axis or guide scope operation
- Anti-blooming: Overload margin greater than 800x.
- Integrated parallel port for external accessories (e.g. the dedicated guide camera)
- Built in dual series ports for accessory control - direct drive filter wheels, GOTO scope etc (software dependant)
- Single USB cable to control the camera and additional accessories as previously described. Reduces cable tangles
- Extremely compact and light-weight - no need for water cooling or fans that cause excessive load on your telescope

Simultaneous Track And Record
The SXVF-M5/7/9 series are STAR2000 compatible.
STAR2000 is a completely new method of correcting the tracking drives of a
telescope, while taking an image with a CCD camera.
Unlike all other autoguiders, or dual CCD self-guiding cameras,
STAR 2000 uses the imaging CCD itself to sense drive errors and
generate correction signals.
To use STAR 2000, you do not need any extra optics or cameras, just
a small interface box to connect the serial port of the computer to
the guider port of the telescope mount.
